01Before you startПеред установкой

• Nothing Phone (2), any region.
• Stock Nothing OS 4.1, best the latest: B4.1-260818-1726. On 3.x, update to 4.1 with the official updates first.
• An unlocked bootloader. Unlocking erases all data.
• A computer with Windows, macOS or Linux, a USB cable and Android SDK Platform-Tools (adb and fastboot).
• About 12 GB free on the computer: the package is 5.7 GB, unpacked 7 GB.

02InstallУстановка

1. Back up your dataСохраните данные

   Unlocking the bootloader and installing from stock erase everything on the phone.

   Разблокировка загрузчика и установка со стока стирают с телефона всё.

2. Set up the computerПодготовьте компьютер

   Unpack Platform-Tools. Windows: if fastboot does not see the phone later, install the Google USB Driver. Linux: if fastboot says “no permissions”, install the android-udev-rules package.

   Распакуйте Platform-Tools. Windows: если потом fastboot не увидит телефон, поставьте Google USB Driver. Linux: если fastboot пишет «no permissions», поставьте пакет android-udev-rules.

3. Unlock the bootloaderРазблокируйте загрузчик

   Settings → About phone: tap the build number 7 times. In Developer options turn on OEM unlocking and USB debugging, connect the phone and run:

   Настройки → О телефоне: 7 раз нажмите на номер сборки. В разделе «Для разработчиков» включите «Заводскую разблокировку» и «Отладку по USB», подключите телефон и выполните:

   adb reboot bootloader

   fastboot flashing unlock

   Confirm on the phone with the volume keys and the power key. The phone erases itself and restarts. Skip if the bootloader is already unlocked.

   Подтвердите на телефоне кнопками громкости и питания. Телефон сотрёт данные и перезагрузится. Если загрузчик уже разблокирован, пропустите шаг.

4. Download and unpack the packageСкачайте и распакуйте пакет

   Download the install package (on this page) and unpack it. Windows: put the platform-tools folder into the unpacked folder, next to flash-all.bat. Linux / macOS: fastboot has to be in PATH.

   Скачайте пакет для установки (на этой странице) и распакуйте его. Windows: положите папку platform-tools в распакованную папку, рядом с flash-all.bat. Linux / macOS: fastboot должен быть в PATH.

5. Boot the phone into the bootloaderПереведите телефон в bootloader

   With USB debugging on, run the command below. Or power the phone off, then hold Volume Down + Power. Connect it with a USB cable.

   С включённой отладкой по USB выполните команду ниже. Или выключите телефон и зажмите Громкость вниз + Питание. Подключите его кабелем.

   adb reboot bootloader

6. Run the installerЗапустите установку
   Windows macOS / Linux

   Open the unpacked folder and double-click flash-all.bat, or run it in a terminal from that folder:Откройте распакованную папку и запустите flash-all.bat двойным щелчком или из терминала в этой папке:

   flash-all.bat

   In a terminal, in the unpacked folder:В терминале, в распакованной папке:

   bash flash-all.sh

   The script checks the files, the model and the bootloader, shows the slot and asks for YES. Then it installs and erases data, about 5–10 minutes. Do not unplug the cable until it says “Done”.

   Скрипт проверит файлы, модель и загрузчик, покажет слот и попросит ввести YES. Потом установит прошивку и сотрёт данные, это 5–10 минут. Не отключайте кабель, пока не появится «Готово».

7. First bootПервая загрузка

   It takes up to 10 minutes. Then set up the phone as usual.

   Она занимает до 10 минут. Потом настройте телефон как обычно.

8. Root (optional)Root (по желанию)

   Root is already in the firmware. To manage it, install ksunext-manager.apk from the package: open it on the phone, or with USB debugging on:

   Root уже есть в прошивке. Чтобы управлять им, поставьте ksunext-manager.apk из пакета: откройте файл на телефоне или, с включённой отладкой по USB:

   adb install ksunext-manager.apk

03UpdatesОбновления

Over the air. Settings → System → System update. New builds download and install in the background into the second slot, then the phone asks to restart. Data and root stay.

По воздуху. Настройки → Система → Обновление системы. Новые сборки скачиваются и ставятся в фоне во второй слот, потом телефон предложит перезагрузиться. Данные и root сохраняются.

From a file. Download the update package (OTA zip) to the phone, then System update → ⋮ → Install from file.

Из файла. Скачайте пакет обновления (OTA zip) на телефон, затем Обновление системы → ⋮ → Установить из файла.

Reinstall keeping data. From the bootloader, with the install package:

04Known issuesОграничения

• Features tied to Phone (3) hardware (Glyph Matrix, Flip to Record and the like) are off.
• Essential Space and Essential Recorder are removed: Phone (2) has no Essential Key.
• Play Integrity “device” checks fail with an unlocked bootloader.
• VoLTE and Wi‑Fi calling are not verified on every carrier.
• On some phones the proximity sensor does not turn the screen off during calls (being looked into).

• Функции, завязанные на железо Phone (3) (Glyph Matrix, Flip to Record и подобные), выключены.
• Essential Space и Essential Recorder убраны: у Phone (2) нет кнопки Essential Key.
• Проверки Play Integrity уровня «устройство» с разблокированным загрузчиком не проходят.
• VoLTE и звонки по Wi‑Fi проверены не у всех операторов.
• На некоторых телефонах датчик приближения не гасит экран во время звонка (разбираемся).
